Use of semi-industrial facilities - agricultural and food incubator/accelerator
The semi-industrial facility for processing fruit into jellied products contains equipment and devices for the production of jellied products (jams, spreads, marmalades, etc.) and, if necessary, other types of products in accordance with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (e.g. spreads for the bakery industry).
Same as the fruit drying facility, this is a pilot facility with a smaller capacity (according to the market analysis and the estimated quantities of fresh fruit for processing), which enables the implementation of the complete production process. It also enables a simulation for education, starting from the reception and storage of raw materials to processing them into a finished product, respecting all the rules and requirements of the profession, food safety and meeting the safety procedures of the production process.
The facility enables the expansion of the product range, the transfer of knowledge and technology to small and medium-sized enterprises, the education of processors and expands knowledge about existing and new technologies for processing different types of fruit. Additional equipment and new devices may be added to the facility depending on the needs of the economy.
The maximum production capacity is 300 kg of finished jellied products (jam, extra jam, marmalade) per day.
The equipment available for rent includes:
• VACUUM COOKER with a heating tank and a pasteurizer (100 l capacity) with double jacket heating and the possibility of pasteurization at a temperature of at least 80 °C
• FRUIT AND VEGETABLE MIXER with an hourly capacity of 300 kg
• FILLER with a capacity of 300 jars per hour and
• CAPPING MACHINE with a capacity of 300 jars per hour and a LABELLING MACHINE
• JAR WASHING AND DRYING MACHINE
The semi-industrial drying processing facility contains equipment and devices for the production of dried fruit and, if necessary, other types of products (e.g. vegetables, pasta, medicinal and aromatic herbs and other goods which can fit on the dryer drawers).
The equipment available for rent includes:
• DRYER FOR FRUIT, VEGETABLES AND MEDICINAL HERBS with a capacity of 400 kg/24h
• FRUIT AND VEGETABLE WASHING MACHINE with a capacity of 300 kg/hour and

Drying is planned in a classic chamber dryer. The chamber dryer is intended for drying all kinds of fruits, vegetables and medicinal herbs, as well as other goods which can be placed on the drawers of the dryer. There are 50 drawers with a total area of 40 m2 in the working space of the dryer, and the dryer can hold approximately 800 kg of fresh plums.
The semi-industrial honey filling and processing facility is equipped to store honey in optimal conditions, carry out the filling process into packaging of various capacities (250 volume and 750 ml volume, and jars of smaller volume for restaurants, hotels, etc.), transfer honey into larger containers if the honey is packaged for sale in bulk, labeling, etc.
The semi-industrial honey filling and processing facility systematically receives different types of honey from low-scale producers, maintains incoming checklists of received samples (date of product receipt, control of received product mass, dry matter of the product, information on the type of honey, information on the producer, etc.), stores it under optimal conditions in accordance with product requirements until the preparation for filling and filling, and carries out the filling process into packaging of various capacities (250 volume and 750 ml volume, and jars of smaller volume, e.g. for restaurants, hotels, etc.).

The semi-industrial honey filling and processing facility enables the expansion of the product range, the transfer of knowledge and technology to small and medium-sized enterprises, the education of processors and expansion of knowledge about existing and new technologies for processing honey into various products. It is also important to point out that the equipment and new devices can be added and purchased if needed, to expand the product range and produce various honey products, all in accordance with the needs of small and medium-sized producers and the economy.
The facility can accommodate 600 kg of honey.
The equipment available for rent includes:
• HONEY FILLER with a dispenser that allows filling quantities from 5g to 45 kg, and a LABELLER,
• HONEY DECRYSTALLIZATION CHAMBER
• HONEY TRANSFER PUMP with a capacity of 1500 liters,
• HOMOGENIZER with a volume of 200 liters,
• HONEY CONTAINERS of 50, 100 and 200 kg.
The semi-industrial facility for the production of cold-pressed juice contains equipment and devices for the production of cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juice and, if necessary, other types of products in accordance with the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises.
